Densely packed flower spikes. Plants flower around the stem creating a mass of colour. Ideal for planting in pots and containers.
Sow early summer to mid-winter at 18-20°C (65-70°F) in a good seed compost. Do not cover the seed with compost. Germination usually takes 15-30 days.
When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions. Plant out 60cm (24in) apart in sun or part shade on the ordinary garden soil.
