Kale is becoming increasingly popular and this Cavolo Nero variety is the first F1 variety available. Compact, upright plants produce heavily crinkled leaves of a dark blue-green colour. The uniform plants stand well without yellowing, so leaves can be harvested from the base to the top of the plant, as and when required, with no wastage. With a long cutting period, Kale ‘Yurok’ is a highly productive crop. From successional sowings you can harvest tasty Kale leaves from summer all the way through to spring!
